To learn two instruments at the same time you need a proper rehearsal routine. follow this checklist when you set out on your musical journey. this checklist assumes an individual is learning two instruments (piano and violin). the checklist. you will need to devote one hour to each instrument in a single session.. Recently, i have sign up piano lessons for her. she was very , very interested in the piano , but not so after lesson. she still has interest though. i have yet to invest in a piano and i am wondering if it is okay to learn 2 instruments at the same time. please advise. thanks.. But then again, studying anything over a long time teaches perseverance and can build self-confidence. there is no special virtue in knowing how to play the violin, unless you have a special gift for the violin. otherwise, you’re learning the same valuable lessons that you’d get from karate class, or from badminton.. Piano and violin at the same time is of course possible, although you may find the transition from piano to violin more difficult than if it had been the other way round. basically piano is digital while violin is analogue..
